Kora Cottages

Rules and Regulations

By checking in, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules are strictly enforced to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests.

  1. What to Bring: Please bring your own pillows, light blankets, towels, personal hygiene items, and, if cooking, your own pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils.

  2. Damage & Security Deposit: A minimum $300 security deposit is required before check-in. The deposit covers damages, excessive cleaning, rule violations, municipal bylaw fines, unauthorized visitors, lost keys ($50 replacement fee), and any costs incurred during your stay.

  3. Private Property: Kora Cottages is private property. Staff reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest at any time. All registered guests must sign this agreement at check-in. Failure to follow staff instructions or property rules may result in immediate eviction without refund.

  4. No Visitors: Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Unauthorized visitors will result in immediate eviction of the entire group and forfeiture of refund/deposit.

  5. Safety Rules: No glass bottles are permitted anywhere on the property—cans only. Climbing or jumping fences, reckless behavior, or creating unsafe conditions is strictly prohibited.

  6. Group Responsibility: All members of the reservation are jointly responsible for the actions of everyone in their group. Damages or violations caused by any guest may result in charges or loss of the entire security deposit.

  7. Parking: Parking is limited to registered guests only. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. (2 Vehicles MAX)

  8. Cleanliness: Units must be left in a reasonably clean condition. Additional housekeeping or yard cleanup fees may be charged for excessive mess, garbage, litter, or cigarette butts left behind.

  9. Pet Policy: Pets are permitted only in Units 5–23. Pets must remain leashed, cleaned up after immediately, and may not be left unattended inside or outside the unit.

  10. Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all units. Tampering with or disabling smoke detectors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate penalties.

  11. Cabin Occupancy: Cabin occupancy limits are strictly enforced. If your cabin has reached its maximum registered occupancy (e.g., 4 guests in a 4-person cabin or 6 guests in a 6-person cabin), no additional people may enter the cabin at any time. If your registered occupancy is below the cabin's maximum capacity, authorized on-site guests may visit only until the maximum occupancy is reached. This policy prevents overcrowding and excessive wear and tear. Only authorized, registered guests are permitted on the property at any time. Violations may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.

  12. Important: Any violation of municipal bylaws, property rules, excessive noise, excessive drinking, illegal activity, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate eviction, full forfeiture of the security deposit, and no refund.
